People with obesity or excess weight use Metermine (phentermine) to reduce body weight.

The drug’s manufacturer, iNova, produces two versions of the phenteremine-based drug, a patented drug and a generic.

Metermine 30 mg and 40 mg side effects

Metermine is available in 30 mg and 40 mg capsules.

You can use 30 mg capsules as a starting dose. If the effect is positive, you don’t need to increase the dosage. However, if the doctor thinks this dose is insufficient to achieve the goals, he can increase it to 40 mg.

There is no data on the direct dependence of Metermine side effects on the drug’s doses.

Conclusion

Metermine is an effective weight loss drug. And like any effective drug, it has adverse effects. Mostly, they have a weak form and gradually disappear. Or you may have no side effects.

But you should be aware of these adverse effects to see a doctor at the first symptoms. And the doctor will decide whether to continue the treatment with the same dose or reduce it. Or he may advise you to stop taking the drug and try to get rid of excess body weight in another way.
