Duromine post-pregnancy

When preparing for pregnancy, women should stop taking Duromine pills. Women can only restart anti-obesity therapy after giving birth.

Duromine (Phentermine) can penetrate into baby’s body with mother’s breast milk. Therefore, those women, who decide to use Duromine pills after birth, should wean the baby from breastfeeding to bottle-feeding.

Pregnant women and nursing mothers have not participated in clinical studies of Duromine. Hence, there is no reliable and objective information on Duromine (Phentermine) impact on the body of pregnant woman, fetus and newborn’s health.

Phentermine (active ingredient of Duromine pills) can cause severe side effects (high blood pressure, change in the heart rate, nausea, vomiting). Theoretically, Duromine (Phentermine) pills pose a potential threat for the fetus and newborns during lactation.

Duromine pills do not affect the efficiency of oral contraceptives. Therefore, Duromine can be used in combination with some birth control pills.

Combined use of Duromine and oral contraceptives is contraindicated in case a woman has severe side effects soon after taking the birth control pills.
