Alas, neither cosmetology nor dietetics have a means that is guaranteed to help get rid of cellulite. This is a complex problem, and its elimination is a complex of measures, as well.
Fight against cellulite will not yield results, if we only lead it in the field of the nutrition. Though, of course, nutrition is an important component of this process, which is responsible for:
- reducing the percentage of adipose tissue in the body,
- ensuring normal metabolism.
WHAT IS CELLULITE
Cellulite is a subcutaneous adipose tissue that rests against the upper layer of the skin and creates bumpy irregularities. Even though cellulite is not considered a disease, its appearance is caused by disturbances in metabolic processes.
HOW DOES IT APPEAR
Cellulite can appear in people who do not suffer from excess weight, since every person’s body contains fatty tissue in a certain amount.
WHAT PROMOTES CELLULITE
HOW TO GET RID OF CELLULITE
The magic pill, alas, does not exist. Yes, massages and cosmetic products that improve microcirculation in the tissues can provide an effect, yet they only smooth out the problem by affecting the skin, and not the fat cells.
The solution lies in the normalization of the processes that cause the appearance of skin irregularities, and namely:
- getting rid of excess fat,
- strengthening connective tissue,
- improving blood circulation.
This will require the following set of “tools”: balanced nutrition and trainings (both cardio and strength).
As already mentioned above, it is important not to overeat, so that the excess does not deposit as fats. It is also important that the nutrition provides your body with all necessary:
- macronutrients (proteins, fats and carbohydrates),
- micronutrients (vitamins and minerals).
These contribute to the construction of tissues and the provision of metabolic processes in them.
Sweets, flour-containing foods, all kinds of pastries, sweet drinks, and alcohol – all these contribute to cellulite, when present in your menu in large quantities and when they replace the products listed above. Therefore, you need to review your nutrition, even if the excess weight does not bother you and you have no excess fat to lose, while the cellulite is present.
We should not forget about the drinking water regime, which is extremely important for metabolism.
